Week 2 Wrap Up: NYG vs. Philadelphia
By Brett | Permalink |NYG 30 — Philadelphia 24
Key play: Early in the 4th Quarter, Plaxico Burress fumbled into the end zone, and it was recovered by teammate Drew Carter for a TD. Philly’s DBs had a shot at it, and had they fallen on the loose ball, the game would’ve been over.
Stud: Eli Manning. Lead his team back from 17 down, made some huge throws in the 4th quarter and overtime, and notched the biggest win of his career.
Dud: Jeremy Shockey. 2 catches for 17 yards. Way to disappear in huge divisional game.
Saw that coming: Donovan McNabb playing well for the second week in a row.
But not that: Philadelphia totally dominating the Giants physically for 3 quarters (at one point, the had a four to one advantage in total yardage), and then completely laying down in the 4th.
